1. What AnimalAds uses
AnimalAds.ie uses essential cookies and browser storage for accounts, secure password recovery and your cookie choices. Optional Google Ads conversion measurement is used only with your consent. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using the site or placing an advert.
2. Essential cookies and storage

These technologies are necessary for the service or record the visitor’s requested preference. Blocking essential authentication cookies may prevent login, password recovery or account features from working.
Cloudflare Turnstile runs a necessary browser security check during account creation and advert submission to distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse. AnimalAds has not enabled Turnstile pre-clearance, so this integration does not ask Cloudflare to place a cf_clearance cookie on AnimalAds. Cloudflare processes limited browser, device and network signals needed for the security check and does not receive the contents entered in the protected form.
3. Cookieless measurement
Vercel Web Analytics provides privacy-focused aggregate usage measurements without placing analytics cookies. Vercel Speed Insights measures technical performance such as page-loading experience. AnimalAds also keeps an internal count of public page paths and, where available, the referring website’s hostname. That counter does not store raw IP addresses, complete browser user-agent strings or persistent visitor identifiers.
4. Optional Google Ads measurement
If you accept advertising measurement, we load Google’s tag to understand whether clicks on our advertising result in an advert being submitted. Google may receive advertising click identifiers, browser information and your IP address. Our conversion event includes an opaque identifier to avoid counting the same submission twice, not your name, email address, telephone number or advert contents. We do not enable enhanced conversions, remarketing or personalised advertising through this integration.
Google’s first-party cookies beginning _gcl_ normally last 90 days. Google may use other cookies according to your browser and Google settings; see Google’s cookie information and how Google uses information from partner sites.
No Google tag is loaded by this integration before acceptance. Choose “Reject optional cookies” in Cookie settings to withdraw consent. This stops future measurement and removes accessible Google Ads first-party cookies, without signing you out. AnimalAds cannot erase cookies belonging to Google’s own domains; these can be managed through your browser or Google settings. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out with consent. The older informational notice acknowledgement is not treated as consent.
