Cookie Policy

1. What AnimalAds uses
AnimalAds.ie uses cookies and similar browser storage only where needed to operate accounts, secure password recovery and remember that a visitor has seen this notice. We do not currently use advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Essential cookies and storage

These technologies are necessary for the service or record the visitor’s requested preference. Blocking essential authentication cookies may prevent login, password recovery or account features from working.
3. Cookieless measurement
Vercel Web Analytics provides privacy-focused aggregate usage measurements without placing analytics cookies. Vercel Speed Insights measures technical performance such as page-loading experience. AnimalAds also keeps an internal count of public page paths and, where available, the referring website’s hostname. That counter does not store raw IP addresses, complete browser user-agent strings or persistent visitor identifiers.
4. Future non-essential cookies
If AnimalAds later introduces advertising, marketing, behavioural analytics or another non-essential tracker, it will not be activated for a visitor until any legally required consent has been obtained. This policy and the on-screen controls will be updated before that technology is used.
